The communications intern is a vital role for a department of only five people, and I made sure to earn my place among them. I assisted the communications team with any projects they needed extra hands on which was anything from website and graphic design, photography and videography, as well as working on district wide accessibility and event planning.

What Matters Most is a local wedding coordination business based in Kansas City that hired me onto their team in 2022. I started off as a junior assistant and moved to assistant the longer I worked with the owner and head coorinator. This job consisted of assisting the wedding party, making sure everything goes smoothly and relieving others of stress as well as creating memories to last a lifetime for the newlywed couples. This job later opened many doors that would allow me to shoot video and photograph weddings as a second shooter.
